Time of the breakin is uncertain, the visit was on 5-Jan-2003 during coldest week of the winter... It was about -24°C at the time of the inspection visit.
People who braved the elements were Teemu Mykkä, OH2KMM, and behind the camera was Matti Aarnio, OH2MQK. Both of Radio Amateur Technical Society (Finland), a.k.a. RATS, operator of the site.
This particular breakin must have been highly specialized, possibly somebody with portable HF receiver to locate precise place, as the only signs of arrival to the place were found coming uphill directly to the antenna, and arriving to the edge of top clearance, direction did change towards the small equipment hut.
The breaker has had some tool, a hammer or a crowbar, and there were only one set of (very much under snow) footprints, so it has likely been a lone perpetrator.
