I found Ecartis a bearable, more featureful replacement for Majordomo
which also was easy to get to cooperate with zmailer and spamassassin.
Downside: Development of Ecartis seems about as dead as dinosaurs.
The knock-out criterum against Mailman for me was that it keeps it's
subscriber lists in some database. Not fun if every once in a while some
manual fiddling with the list is needed.
As I understand vger.kernel.org is running a special-hacked version of
Majordomo which from my user perspective seems to make a very good job;
is that code available?
